boost controller help?!

Ok i need a boost controller and i found a guy selling a splitsecond boost controller he pulled off a volkswagon golf gti he bought at an auction then sold the golf, the question is will that work on my civic si? Chipped p28 b16?

Manual boost controllers are not expensive and easy to install..
